Visit the Koala Hospital

Visit the Koala Hospital
The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital is open and is welcoming visitors wanting to see and learn more about koalas.

The Port Macquarie Koala Hospital is a self-guided outdoor experience. To ensure the health and safety of visitors and staff we follow the orders issued by NSW Health. Therefore we ask that:

If you have been asked to self-isolate, please stay away until you are healthy - do not visit. If you have cold or flu symptoms, please stay away - do not visit.

Our koalas remain our first priority, and while we were closed, our dedicated volunteers and staff have continued to care for the koalas on permanent exhibit and those in rehab at the hospital.

Please note that visits to the Koala Hospital may be temporarily halted for safety reasons such as in the event of severe adverse weather conditions.
